After many trials and tribulations, the old Craigslist-dresser-cum-changing-table is finished. We had to relent and allow Peter to sand it down and then spray on two coats of black, satin-finish oil paint...not the toxin-free endeavor I'd originally envisioned, but alas, my milk paint experiment was ill-fated. Still, looks pretty dang good (especially for $50 and a few cans of paint). It's now filled with onesies and diapers and tiny socks, and we're in the process of staining Ikea's Sniglar beech crib black to match. Will post pics of the entire nursery ensemble when that's done...
