Peeps's First Birthday

Cousin Piersson turned one a little while ago. Cinco de Mayo was the theme. There was a pinata and a chili t-shirt involved. I did a handstand then ate too many soft tacos. There were beers in metal buckets. Peter and Janice baked a cake that Emily decorated with peppers made of icing. The sky thought about raining, then thought twice and cleared up. That made everyone even happier. I heard there was an after party somewhere. Peeps got some cool stuff, including this wagon. He took a piece of cake and smashed it in his hand. He likes to hunch his shoulders and say "Hi!" to everyone he sees. My cousin Margaret visited from Brooklyn. Even though Peeps had never met her, when he saw her for the first time, he said "Hi!"
